Today at the IFA Conference in Berlin, Sony announced the cloud-based music service "Music Unlimited Powered by Qriocity" is to be launched on Sony devices, including the PS3, later this year.
With a single account you will be able to accrss and synchronise millions of songs through the cloud.

The ever-changing 256 player FPS MAG (Massive Action Game) will be entering a new phase. MAG will be Move compatible upon the release of the new controller next month.
Given the success of the ABC iView service on the PS3, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has announced an expansion of the service with the impending addition of Yahoo!7's 'Plus7'.

It's official Mass Effect 2 is coming to PS3!
Fans rejoice, after three years of silence, Irrational Games has reveal it's ''Project Icarus'' is a new Bioshock game. Now before you start poo-pooing it, saying ''Bioshock's dead, let it go.'' ''Bioshock 2 sucked, why make another one?'' This addition to the franchise is for all intense and purposes a new IP. And as a bonus it's being helmed by Ken Levine, the creative director on the original Bioshock, so expect awesome things. The game was revealed yesterday in New York with a teaser trailer (linked below) and an extended demo.
Coming September, to a Playstation 3 in your residence, is an update to further expand the 3D capabilities of the PS3. This update adds to the already enabled capability of 3D games (and updating the HDMI spec to 1.4, required for 3D), by providing support for Blu-Ray movies featuring 3D content. An update for 3D photos is expected later on in the year, and You Tube is expected to support 3D within 12 months.
Quite the update this one, adding some new features (some known and a couple of surprises) to the already feature heavy Playstation 3. Some of the hightlights are the ability to purchase a Playstation Plus subscription, improved network connectivity, and a Video editor and uploader. Additionally, a firmware update for the PSP (Ver 6.30) has also been released.
